- Each lesson introduces 7 specific Auslan signs along with Auslan sentences.
- An Auslan Video accompanies each lesson, demonstrating how to use the signs and incorporate them into everyday phrases.
- All Auslan videos have subtitles where necessary.

During the lessons:
- Students practice by copying the Auslan instructor in the video.
- The teacher monitors and corrects the students' signing.
- The teacher can provide additional everyday examples for specific signs.
- Students engage in discussions to translate phrases into Auslan, guided by the teacher using the Auslan sentences provided in the Teacher Book.
