Auslan Fingerspelling Program Trial © The Story of How it Happened... just something I thought of in the middle of the night when I was trying to sleep. A student of mine had trouble with spelling English words. I tried to work out how to help him and came up with this interactive program. With this program, the student is able to practice spelling with dual visual input of pictures and Auslan fingerspelling cues. If the student has trouble remembering the spelling, he can click on the fingerspelling cue and it will run in a smooth motion. Many thanks to my brother, Stephen Ashley, for designing codes to make the program work in Microsoft Excel. This program is copyrighted. Please contact me if you would like to use this concept.
This program is in its
infancy... there's only eight words in there so far! A video display of Auslan Fingerspelling Program Trial ©:
Instructions: 1. Download the Auslan Fingerspelling Program Trial © here 2. Upon opening the file, you will see this:
3. click on "Enable Macros" 4. The Program should be up and running. It works on Windows XP, and should be able to work on other versions, let me know if it does not. NOTE: The Auslan Fingerspelling Program Trial © is a program that runs in Microsoft Excel. For it to work as shown in the display video, your computer needs to have Microsoft Excel (should be in your computer already) and Auslan Susana1 font.
